1. The Doctrine of Inclusion (Elder Ballard)

1.1. Jesus teaches lawyer about the parable of the good Samaritan. "We are all neighbors and that we should love, esteem, respect, and serve one another despite our deepest differences including religious, political, and cultural differences."

1.2. We should love our neighbors regardless of their faith and if they do not accept the gospel. We can disagree respectfully.

1.3. 1. Get to know your neighbors, 2. eliminate a couple of phrases from our vocabulary: “nonmember” and “non-Mormon.” 3.

2. The Moving of the Water (Elder Packer)

2.1. It is not someone's sins that makes them the way that they are, Jesus corrected that idea of thinking.

2.2. We should never makes light or disrespect handicapped in any way. Parents should teach them that they, in their own way, should become like angels who “move the water,” healing a spirit by erasing loneliness, embarrassment, or rejection.

2.3. "That day of healing will come. Bodies which are deformed and minds that are warped will be made perfect. In the meantime, we must look after those who wait by the pool of Bethesda."

2.4. The nearer the normal patterns of conduct and discipline apply to the handicapped, the happier they will be. Every quarter of an inch of physical and mental improvement is worth striving for.

3. Concern for the One (Elder Wirthlin)

3.1. We are commanded to seek out those who are lost. We are to be our brother’s keeper. We cannot neglect this commission given by our Savior. We must be concerned for the one.

3.2. All of Heavenly Father’s children are different in some degree, yet each has his own beautiful sound that adds depth and richness to the whole. This variety of creation itself is a testament of how the Lord values all His children.

3.3. Because of our imperfections, we need the Lord’s Church.

4.1. Spiritual poison that hardens the heart and deadens the soul. I speak today of the spirit of entitlement

4.2. If you and I have the spirit of entitlement, it means that we have an attitude and belief that the world owes us what we want. They want something for nothing.

5.1. Treat all equally, all are imperfect sons and daughters of God, turn to the Lord for patience and strength, remember to respond with love, don't let the spiritual poison endanger my soul.
